The works of five authors collected on this digital platform focus on queer migration. We’re also sharing a 2024 research, "Otherness and the Cost of Promised Freedom: A Study on Queer Emigration from Georgia" that looks at the difficulties of adapting in a receiving country and the loss or rediscovery of a sense of home. We also speak about what it feels like to stay in Georgia when so many have already left, are leaving now, or will leave soon. These authors don’t try to romanticize either leaving or staying. What matters more to us is the connective tissue, the shared struggles, the resentment and the joy that, despite the distance between points on a map, often bring us very close to one another.
